What We Fund
Projects that strengthen communities, expand access, and grow leadership.
Examples include:
- Youth and education initiatives
- Community health and well-being
- Civic engagement and leadership development
- Arts and culture
- ASL, interpreting, or accessibility projects
- Faith and community service programs
Awards
Three Annual Awards
- 1 Grand Award: $1,000
- 2 Micro-grants: $250 each
Timeline for 2025
- Applications open: September 27, 2025
- Deadline: October 20, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET
- Finalists notified: October 24, 2025
- Winners announced: October 25, 2025 at the book launch event
What Winners Receive
- Funding to launch or grow your project
- Light mentorship and check-ins from The Maldon Academy
- Spotlight on The Maldon Brand channels
- Accountability support to help you deliver
Expectations if Funded
- Use funds within 6 months
- Submit a one-page report or 60-second recap video within 6 months
- Share 3 photos or highlights from your project
- Allow The Maldon Academy to share your story publicly

- A simple budget for the funds
- A short description of your leadership journey
